I love the black and white style of this and the collection of different type, so many things to look at and take in, very simplistic but I believe it works well together along with the inclusion of small doodles and illustrations. I would like to include this kind of style into my posters as I think with a lot of things on the page it could possibly look cluttered but I really like this style.

Hand Job
Looking through one of my favourite books, 'Hand Job' full of hand drawn designs, I selected some of my favourites which inspired me to recreate and create my own drawing for my poster. I much prefer hand drawing type and scanning it in to alter it on photoshop.

Jesper Waldersten
This is a textile design, but this piece has a certain style which attracts me. I love black and white work and again the 'doodlee' style used, especially a large scale of it works so well, so much detail and so much to look it.
Illustration
From the library I found this illustration book, 'The Picture Book' full of designs and illustrators for inspiration. I picked out a few I found particularly interesting.
Iparticularly like the piece below with the desk, 'Back to the Old School' created for the celebration of 50 years of the Parker Jotter pen. I love the style used, a variety of doodles and words drawn in a quality style to create a collage of images, the context that it is used within works perfectly as well.
